Afghanistan beat Uganda by huge margin of 125 runs


The game between Afghanistan and Uganda was won by Afghanistan by a huge margin of 125 runs which is played at Providence Stadium.

Afghanistan gives the target of 184 runs to the Uganda. For this, Afghani batsman played really well. The openers make a huge partnership of 154 runs for the first wicket. For that, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 76 runs in 45 balls which include 4 fours and 4 sixes while another opener batsman Ibrahim Zadran scored 70 runs in 46 deliveries with the help of of 9 fours and 1 sixes. While, Mohammad Nabi scored 14 runs in 16 balls.

Uganda bowlers couldn't perform well at first but after 15th over they did great bowling which Afghanistan cannot make 200 runs. Bowlers Cosman Kyewuta and Captain Brian Masaba take 2-2 wickets for each by giving 25 runs and 21 runs respectively. Another bowler Alpesh Ramjani also took 1 wicket for Uganda.

In the second innings, Uganda's batters couldn't acheive a target and gets all out for only 58 runs which is the bad performance in this world cup. Robinson Obuya scored the highest of 14 runs in 25 balls. While four batsman goes for duck just like Srilankan batsman that make least total for team. Riazat Ali Shah scored the second highest run for team that is 11 runs in 34 balls. 

Afghanistan bowlers did great bowling performance in the second innings as they restrict for only 58 runs which led team to win by a huge margin of 125 runs. Bowlers Fazalhaq farooqi alone take 5 wicket haul by giving 9 runs in his 4 over at the economy of 2.25. Naveen-ul-Haq and Rashid Khan both take 2 wickets by giving 4 runs in 2 overs and 12 runs in 4 overs respectively. While, Mujeeb Ur Rahman take one wicket by giving 16 runs in 3 overs.

Fazalhaq Farooqi won the Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding bowling performance of 5 wickets by giving only 9 runs in 4 overs which is the first five wicket-haul in this world cup.
