Australia made their first victory against Oman


Australia secure their first victory against Oman by 39 runs on the on-going icc t20 world cup 2024 played at Kensington  Oval Barbados Stadium.

Australia did batting first after losing the toss. Australian batsman did great batting as they scored 164 runs in 20 overs. Opener David Warner scored half century in his first game of world cup. He scored 56 runs in 51 balls with the help of 6 boundaries and 1 sixes. While, other opener Travis Head couldn't scored big runs. He manage to score only 12 runs in 10 balls. Glen Maxwell is totally out of form in this year as he again goes for a duck. Captain Mitchell Marsh goes after scoring 14 runs in 21 balls including 2 boundaries. Marcus Stoinis did outstanding batting performance. He scored 67 runs in 36 balls including 2 boundaries and 6 sixes. Because of David Warner and Marcus Stoinis great half centuries performance Australia make a respectable total of 164 runs in 20 overs.

Oman bowlers cannot perform well against Australian batsman. For Oman side, Bilal Khan, Kaleemullah and Mehran Khan take 1 wicket, 1 wicket and 2 wickets after conceding 36 runs, 30 runs and 38 runs in the 4, 3, and 4 overs respectively. While, other bowlers cannot contribute for Oman because all are wicketless.

In the second innings, Oman can only scored 125 runs in  20 overs after losing 9 wickets. Only four batsman can scored double digit runs from Oman side. Ayan Khan scored the highest runs for Oman as he scored 36 runs in 30 balls including 2 boundaries and 2 sixes. Captain Aqib Ilyas, Mehran Khan, and Shakeel Ahmad scored 18 runs, 27 runs and 11 runs respectively. While, other batsman couldn't perform for Oman.

Australian bowlers did great bowling performance as they restrict Oman for only 125 runs. Mitchell Starc and Nathan Ellis both take two wickets for each. While, Marcus Stoinis takes three wickets by conceding 19 runs in 3 overs. Adam Zampa also take two wickets conceding 24 runs in his 4 over spell.

Marcus Stoinis became Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding all round performance with bat and ball both. He scored 67 runs in just 36 ballls with bat and take 3 wickets with ball.

India reached into the final of t20 world cup 2024

India entered into the final after beating England by 68 runs in the second semi-final in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between India and England at Providence Stadium England can't chase the target of 172 runs given by India where they were become all out at just 103 runs in 16.4 overs. England batsman fails to achieve the target and can't reached into the final in this world cup. England is the defending champion of t20 world cup 2022. England batsman couldn't contribute runs which results them to lose this game. For England, Opener Phil Salt departs just for 5 runs after playing 8 balls while another opener Captain Jos Buttler scored 23 runs in 15 balls including 4 boundaries. Virat Kohli retire from t20 international

  Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time. Kohli, who did not make it to the semi-finals, scored 76 runs off 59 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes in the final. India won the T20 title after 17 years and the ICC title after 13 years. In 2007, he won the T20 World Cup and the last time in 2011, he won the One-Day World Cup. This is the first T20 World Cup title for Virat, who was a member of the team that won the ODI World Cup. Virat, who played in the T20 World Cup for the sixth time, said after becoming a player, 'It is the right time to retire. Now the new generation has to take it forward. This is my last T20 World Cup.
