Australia won against defending champion England by 36 runs

Australia win against the defending champion England by 36 runs in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between Australia and England at Kensington Oval Barbados Stadium.

Australia restrict the target of 202 runs against England as England can only manage to score 165 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. England batters cannot perform as they've planned that results them to loss.

For England, Opener give the good start as they've made 71 runs partnership for first wicket. Opener Phil Salt and Captain Jos Buttler scored 37 runs in 23 balls  including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes and 42 runs in 28 balls including 5 deliveries. Thereafter, Will Jacks goes after scoring just 10 runs. While, Moeen Ali, Harry Brook, and Liam Livingstone scored 25 runs, 20 runs and 15 runs respectively.

Australian bowlers did great performance against England batters as they can successfully restrict at short runs and secured a victory. Pacer Pat Cummins and Spinner Adam Zampa take equal two wickets for each by conceding 23 runs and 28 runs respectively. Josh Hazlewood and Marcus Stoinis take equal one wicket for each. While, other bowlers cannot take wickets but anyway Australia win this game by 36 runs.

In the first innings, Australian batsman played a destructive batting with strongest mindest. They are the first team to complete over 200 runs in this t20 world cup 2024. They socred 201 runs by losing 7 wickets in the 20 overs. Opener Travis Head and David Warner make a 70 runs partnership for one wicket. Head contribute 34 runs in 18 balls including 2 fours and 3 sixes while Warner contribute 39 runs in 16 balls including 2 boundaries and 4 sixes. Thereafter, Captain Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell scored 35 with 2 fours and 2 sixes  runs and 28 runs  with 3 fours and 1 sixes respectively. Marcus Stoinis scored 30 runs in just 17 deliveries with the help of 2 boundaries and 2 sixes. 

England bowlers cannot execute their plans against Australian batsman. Chris Jordan take highest two wickets by conceding 44 runs in 4 overs. While, Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, and Liam Livingstone all take equal one wickets for each.

Adam Zampa, leg spinner of Australian bowler became Player of the Match(POM) due to his economical bowling performances. He take two crucial wickets by giving only 28 runs in 4 overs at the economy of just 7 runs.
