Canada won against Ireland by 12 runs


Canada beat Ireland by 13 runs in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between Ireland and Canada at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

 Ireland cannot complete the target of 138 runs given by Canada in the first innings. Ireland had poor batting performance as they cannot contribute runs for team which can make team to the victory. Ireland Opener Andrew Balbirnie and Skipper Paul Stirling goes after scoring 17 runs and 9 runs respectively. George Dockrell and Gareth Delany played brilliant innings which gave team hope for the victory. Dockrell scored 30 runs in 23 balls including 2 boundaries and 1 six where Delany scored 34 runs in 24 balls including 3 boundaries and 1 sixes. While, other batsman couldn't contribute more runs for team that help team to win.

Canada bowlers did very well against Ireland batsman. They restrict the small target of 138 runs. Jeremy Gordion and Dillon Heyliger take equal two wickets for each by giving 16 runs and 18 runs respectively. While, Junaid Siddique and Captain Saad Bin Zafar both take one wickets for each.

In the first innings, Canada make a small respectable total of 137 runs. Opener Aaron Johnson and Navneet Dhaliwal goes after scoring 14 and 6 runs respectively. Nicholas Kirton played a very well knock of 49 runs which is the highest runs for Canada in this game. He scored 49 runs in 35 balls including 3 boundaries and 2 sixes. Another batsman Shryeas Movva scored 37 runs in 36 balls including 3 boundaries. While, other batsman couldn't add more runs except Pargat Singh scored 18 runs in 14 balls.

Ireland bowlers cannot execute their plans as they prepared which cost them to lose this game. Craig Young and Barry McCarthy take equal two wickets for each by conceding 32 runs and 24 runs respectively. While, Mark Adair and Gerath Delany both take one wicket for each.

Captain of Canada Nicholas Kirton became Player of the Match(POM) because of his brilliant knock of 49 runs in 35 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes.

India entered into the final after beating England by 68 runs in the second semi-final in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between India and England at Providence Stadium England can't chase the target of 172 runs given by India where they were become all out at just 103 runs in 16.4 overs. England batsman fails to achieve the target and can't reached into the final in this world cup. England is the defending champion of t20 world cup 2022. Virat Kohli retire from t20 international

  Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time. Kohli, who did not make it to the semi-finals, scored 76 runs off 59 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes in the final. India won the T20 title after 17 years and the ICC title after 13 years.
