Pakistan lose their first match against USA in the Super Over


Pakistan lose their first match against United States in the Super Over on the on-going t20 world cup which is played between Pakistan and USA at Grand Prairie Stadium.

In the Super Over, USA make 18 runs and gives the target of 19 runs to the Pakistan with help of  Aaron Jones of 11 runs in 6 balls including 1 boundaries. Bowler Mohammad Amir give 7 extra runs which include all wide balls. After that, Pakistan can only manage to score 13 runs with losing of 1 wickets. Iftikhar Ahmed and  Shadab Khan scored 4 and 3 runs respectively.

Before that, Pakistan gives the target of 160 runs after losing 7 wickets. For Pakistan, Opener Mohammad Rizwan goes after scoring 9 runs in 8 balls. Babar Azam played brilliant innings of 44 runs in 43 balls including 3 boundaries and 2 sixes but he cannot make team to win by this contribution. Shadab Khan played outstanding knock of 40 runs in just 25 balls including 1 boundaries and 3 sixes. Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Shaheen Afridi scored 11 runs, 18 runs and 23 runs respectively. While, other batsman couldn't contribute for teams.

USA bowlers make really trouble to Pakistan batsman. They did great bowling performance so they can restrict Pakistan at low total. Nosthush Kenjige alone take 3 crucial wickets by giving 30 runs in his 4 overs. Anothe bowlers Saurab Netravalkar, Ali Khan, and Jasdeep Singh take 2, 1, and 1 wickets respectively. While, other bowlers cannot take wickets.

In the second innings, USA can manage to score 159 in the last balls of last over which turn game into a Super Over. For that, Opener Steven Taylor and Captain Monank Patel scored 12 and 50 runs respectively. Patel scored half-century with the help of 7 boundaries and 1 sixes. Thereafter, Andries Gous and  Aaron Jones scored 35 runs in 26 balls and 36 runs in 26 balls respectively. While, Nitish Kumar scored 14 runs in 14 balls.

Pakistan couldn't perform well as like USA bowlers. They can take only one wicket in the first power play. From Pakistan side, Bowlers Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf all three take equal one wickets by giving 25 runs, 26 runs and 37 runs respectively.

Captain of USA became Player of the Match(POM) due to his brilliant knock of 50 runs in 38 deliveries which include 7 boundaries and 1 sixes. This is the second win of USA in this tournament.

India reached into the final of t20 world cup 2024

India entered into the final after beating England by 68 runs in the second semi-final in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between India and England at Providence Stadium England can't chase the target of 172 runs given by India where they were become all out at just 103 runs in 16.4 overs. England batsman fails to achieve the target and can't reached into the final in this world cup. England is the defending champion of t20 world cup 2022. Virat Kohli retire from t20 international

  Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time. Kohli, who did not make it to the semi-finals, scored 76 runs off 59 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes in the final. India won the T20 title after 17 years and the ICC title after 13 years. In 2007, he won the T20 World Cup and the last time in 2011, he won the One-Day World Cup. This is the first T20 World Cup title for Virat, who was a member of the team that won the ODI World Cup.
