South Africa beat Bangladesh by 4 runs in the final over



 South Africa can successfully restrict the target of 114 runs against Bangladesh and secured a victory by 4 runs in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between Bangladesh and South Africa at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Bangladesh couldn't achieve the target of just 114 runs against South African bowlers due to the poor batting performances. Opener Tanzid Hasan and Captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto goes after scoring 9 runs in 9 balls and 14 runs in 23 balls respectively. After that, wicket falls continuously and batsman couldn't make partnership. But, somehow middle order show some of their class and give hopes to the team. Towhid Hridoy and Mahmudullah scored 37 runs in 34 balls including 2 fours and 2 sixes and 20 runs in 27 balls including 2 boundaries respectively. While, no other batsman can make runs in double digit.

South African bowlers perform well and can restrict Bangladesh successfully that results them to win this game. Spinner Keshav Maharaj did great bowling as he take 3 wickets by conceding only 27 runs in 4 overs. While, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje take equal two wickets for each by conceding 19 runs and 17 runs respectively. 

Before that, in the first innings, South African make low total against Bangladesh but somehow they can make win this game. For South Africa respectable totals, Heinrich Klaasen scored the highest runs for South Africa as he scored 46 runs in 44 balls including 2 fours and 3 sixes. David Warner scored 29 runs in 38 deliveries with the help of 1 boundaries and 1 sixes. Opener Quinton de Kock scored 18 runs in 11 balls. While, others batsman couldn't make runs in double digits.

Bangladeshi bowlers give trouble to the South African batsman as they're picking wickets early and stopping runs for some overs as well. Tanzim Hasan Sakib take the highest wickets as he take 3 wickets by conceding just 18 runs in 4 overs. While, Taskin Ahmed and Rishad Hossain take two wickets and one wickets respectively.

Heinrich Klaasen became Player of the Match(POM) due to his excellent batting performance in under pressure while wickets are flowing from another end. He scored 46 runs in 44 deliveries including 2 fours and 3 sixes.

India entered into the final after beating England by 68 runs in the second semi-final in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between India and England at Providence Stadium England can't chase the target of 172 runs given by India where they were become all out at just 103 runs in 16.4 overs. Virat Kohli retire from t20 international

  Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time.
