USA registered their first victory in the first game


USA registered their first victory against Canada by 7 wickets in the opening game of t20 world cup 2024 which is played at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.


USA give the good start and added two points in the points as they won against Canada due to the amazing knock of A. Jones as he smashed 94 crucial runs in just 40 deliveries

USA complete easily the target of 195 runs given by Canada in 17.4 overs. From batting side, both openers out in the short time. Captain Monank Patel become out after scoring 16 runs and another opener also goes duck in the first over. Thereafter, Andries Gous and Aaron Jones played brilliant knock. They both score half century as Gous scored 65 runs in 46 balls while A. Jones scored 94 runs in 40 balls. Due to the help of these two batsman, USA can easily achieve the target of 195 runs in just 17.4 overs. 

For  Canada, bowlers Kaleem Sana, Dillion Heyliger, and Nikhil Dutta all took equal one wickets.

Before that, Canada scored 194 runs in the 20 overs with the loss of five wickets. Opener Aaron Johnson and Navneet Dhaliwal  scored 23 runs and 61 runs respectively. Dhaliwal scored fifty that can help team to score a respectable total of 194 runs. He scored 61 runs in 44 deliveries with the help of 6 boundaries and 3 sixes. Shreyas Movva scored 32 runs in just 16 deliveries with the help of 2 boundaries and 2 sixes. Nicholas Kirton also scored half century as he scored 51 runs in 31 deliveries. He hit 3 boundaries and 2 sixes. 

For USA, bowlers Ali Khan, Harmeet Singh, and Corey Anderson all took one wickets.

Aaron Jones became Player of the Match(POM) due to his brilliant knock of  94 runs in just 40 deliveries as he smashed 4 boundaries and 10 sixes.

India reached into the final of t20 world cup 2024

India entered into the final after beating England by 68 runs in the second semi-final in the on-going t20 world cup 2024 which is played between India and England at Providence Stadium England can't chase the target of 172 runs given by India where they were become all out at just 103 runs in 16.4 overs. England batsman fails to achieve the target and can't reached into the final in this world cup. England is the defending champion of t20 world cup 2022. Virat Kohli retire from t20 international

  Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time. Kohli, who did not make it to the semi-finals, scored 76 runs off 59 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes in the final. India won the T20 title after 17 years and the ICC title after 13 years. In 2007, he won the T20 World Cup and the last time in 2011, he won the One-Day World Cup. This is the first T20 World Cup title for Virat, who was a member of the team that won the ODI World Cup. Virat, who played in the T20 World Cup for the sixth time, said after becoming a player, 'It is the right time to retire. Now the new generation has to take it forward. This is my last T20 World Cup.
